Terms & Conditions
The deal, in plain language. No surprises is the whole point of this service.
What the service is
PassportClerk checks your own photo against a document's official requirements. The check, cropping and watermarked preview are free and run in your browser. One paid order buys, for a single photo: the digital file in the exact required specification, a printable compliance report, a print-ready 10×15 cm sheet, and — only where the destination country permits it — uniform-background normalization.
Price and payment
The full price is shown before checkout and charged once per photo — no subscription, no add-ons. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see your card details.
Delivery and the 48-hour window
Your files are generated within seconds of uploading your photo after payment, and remain downloadable via your link for 48 hours. After that they are permanently deleted from our servers — by design, for your privacy. If you missed the window, contact us: your payment is recorded and we will re-render from a re-uploaded photo.
Refunds
If your files are defective, not to specification, or delivery failed, email support@passportclerk.com: we fix it or refund you in full. By purchasing you request immediate delivery of digital content; where EU withdrawal rules apply, you acknowledge the right of withdrawal lapses once delivery has begun — the fix-or-refund promise above stands regardless.
No guarantee of acceptance
We measure your photo against officially published requirements and report the results. We do not and cannot guarantee acceptance: the final decision always rests with the issuing authority. Rules can change between our verification date (shown on each page) and your submission.
Your responsibilities
Upload only photos you have the right to use, of the person the document is for. You are responsible for confirming your specific application's requirements with the authority, including anything we mark as 'check manually' (expression, glasses rules, recency).
Liability
To the extent the law allows, our liability for any claim related to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms; the current version always lives at this address. Questions: support@passportclerk.com.
