Does resizing make my photo compliant?
It fixes the pixel dimensions only. Head height (50–69%) and eye position also matter — use the DV lottery or US passport checker to verify the full geometry.
Is my photo uploaded anywhere?
No. The resize happens in your browser with the canvas API; you can verify in your browser's network tab that nothing is transmitted.
