What is a Spain Driving Licence (Carnet de Conducir) photo?

A Spanish driving licence photo is the standard foto de carnet: 26×32 mm in colour, head 23–25 mm, white background, recent and front-facing. It appears on the credit-card licence issued by the DGT.

When you need to supply it depends on the flow: first licences via autoescuela or DGT offices take a printed photo, while renewals normally happen at a Centro de Reconocimiento de Conductores that photographs you during the medical check and transmits everything to the DGT digitally.

Check your photo against the Spanish format, then print six exact-size copies on one 10×15 cm sheet, enough for the licence, the DNI and anything else that asks for a foto de carnet.
