Free tool, no upload

Resize a photo to exactly 400×514 pixels

Singapore's ICA e-Service requires the uploaded passport photo to be exactly 400×514 pixels (not a minimum, the exact size). This tool center-crops and resizes any image to 400×514, entirely on this page.

The dimensions are only one of the checks the portal runs: the background must be plain white and your framing has to be right too. The Singapore passport checker measures those as well.

Free to use. The image is never uploaded.

Questions

Which applications need a 400×514 pixel photo?

Singapore passport applications submitted through the ICA e-Service, which is the main application channel. The portal rejects any other dimensions mechanically.

Why 400×514 and not 35×45 mm?

It is the same shape: 400÷514 equals the 35:45 ratio used by most of the world's ID photos, expressed as an exact pixel target so the portal can validate uploads automatically.

Is my photo uploaded anywhere?

No. The photo is resized right on the page and is never uploaded or stored.
